Zinc Futures Down on Muted Demand - PTI

Zinc prices fell on Wednesday due to reduced speculator exposure and weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Dec 13 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell by 0.46 per cent to Rs 217.25 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded lower by Re 1 or 0.46 per cent at Rs 217.25 per kg in 3,851 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
