Zinc Futures Drop on Weak Demand

Zinc prices fell 1.33% on Wednesday, driven by weak demand from consuming industries and slackened trends in spot markets.
New Delhi, Nov 13 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell by 1.33 per cent to Rs 271.70 per kg in the futures trade following weak trends in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded down by Rs 3.65 or 1.33 per cent at Rs 271.70 per kg in 835 lots.
Analysts said participants trimmed positions owing to slackened demand from consuming industries and weak advices from physical markets.
