Zinc prices dropped 0.10% on Monday due to reduced speculative interest and weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 0.10 per cent to Rs 232.50 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded lower 10 paise or 0.10 per cent at Rs 232.50 per kg in 3,154 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
