Zinc futures decline 0.08% to Rs 298.05/kg on MCX due to reduced exposure and slackened demand. December contracts trade lower.
New Delhi, Nov 17 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 0.08 per cent to Rs 298.05 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded lower by 25 paise, or 0.08 per cent, at Rs 298.05 per kg in 815 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
