Zinc futures decline 0.43% on MCX due to weak demand. October contracts trade at Rs 276.55/kg. Analysts cite slackened physical market demand.
New Delhi, Sep 4 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell 0.43 per cent to Rs 276.55 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for October delivery traded lower by Rs 1.20 or 0.43 per cent at Rs 276.55 per kg in 434 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
