Zinc prices declined 0.38% to Rs 251.90 per kg in futures trade due to reduced speculator exposure and weak physical market demand.
New Delhi, Jun 19 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell 0.38 per cent to Rs 251.90 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded lower by 95 paise or 0.38 per cent at Rs 251.90 per kg in 1,887 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
