New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.75 to Rs 295.35 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded higher by Rs 1.75, or 0.6 per cent, to Rs 295.35 per kilogram with a business turnover of 941 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries, kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
