Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries. Read more about the latest zinc market trends.
New Delhi, Oct 11 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose Rs 1.75 to Rs 282.75 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 1.75 or 0.62 per cent at Rs 282.75 per kg with a business turnover of 2,813 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
