Zinc Futures Surge on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries. Learn more about the rise in zinc futures.
New Delhi, Dec 7 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose 85 paise to Rs 219.70 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded higher by 85 paise or 0.39 per cent at Rs 219.70 per kg with a business turnover of 4,428 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
