Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Jun 26 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 3.95 to Rs 262.30 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded higher Rs 3.95 or 1.53 per cent at Rs 262.30 per kg with a business turnover of 2,312 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
