Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

New Delhi, May 10 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose Rs 3.25 to Rs 262.05 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded higher Rs 3.25 or 1.26 per cent at Rs 262.05 per kg with a business turnover of 3,821 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
