Markets Slump on Middle East Tensions; Sensex Drops 500 pts

Stock markets tumbled due to heightened Middle East tensions after US airstrikes on Iran. Sensex closed with a loss of 511.38 points, while Nifty dropped 140.50 points. Global oil prices also rose.
