An Australian delegation of wool farmers and entrepreneurs visited the Wool Research Centre in Thane, India, to explore research developments and assess opportunities in the wool production sector.

India's meat production increased by 5% to 10.25 million tonnes in FY24, while egg production rose by 3%. West Bengal led in meat production, while Andhra Pradesh topped egg production.

India's milk production rose by 4% to 230.58 million tonnes in 2022-23, while egg output increased by 7% to 138.38 billion, the government said.
