The Government of Tamil Nadu listed the paper mill in April 1979 under the provisions of the Companies Act of 1956. The factory is situated at Kagithapuram 11deg02'56''N 77deg59'52''E / 11.0488degN 77.9977degE / 11.0488; 77.9977 in the Karur District of Tamil Nadu and Manapparai, Trichy district of Tamil Nadu.
