Aluminium Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Aluminium prices fell on Thursday due to reduced demand from consuming industries. The decline was observed in the futures market on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Aug 29 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday declined 85 paise to Rs 227.55 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in September fell 85 paise or 0.37 per cent to Rs 227.55 per kg in 3,478 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
