Aluminium prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries, leading to reduced positions by participants.
New Delhi, Jun 3 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday declined by 0.06 per cent to Rs 240.75 per kg in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June fell 15 paise or 0.06 per cent to Rs 240.75 per kg in a trading volume of 3,762 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries pulled down aluminium prices.
