Aluminium prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to reduced demand from consuming industries, leading to traders trimming their positions.
New Delhi, Jul 30 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined 25 paise to Rs 209 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August fell 25 paise or 0.12 per cent to Rs 209 per kg in 5,115 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
