Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures prices climbed 0.67% on Thursday, reaching Rs 224 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by increased demand from consuming industries and fresh positions from speculators.
New Delhi, Jul 18 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday climbed 0.67 per cent to Rs 224 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for July delivery increased Rs 1.50 or 0.67 per cent to Rs 224 per kg in a business turnover of 3,131 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
