Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange climbed 0.58 per cent to Rs 215.45 per kg, driven by fresh positions from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Aug 12 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday climbed 0.58 per cent to Rs 215.45 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for August delivery increased Rs 1.25 or 0.58 per cent to Rs 215.45 per kg in a business turnover of 4,068 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
