Aluminium prices climbed 0.2% to Rs 202.90 per kg in futures trade on Thursday, driven by fresh positions from speculators and strong demand in the spot market.
New Delhi, Nov 30 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday climbed 0.2 per cent to Rs 202.90 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for December delivery increased by 40 paise or 0.2 per cent to Rs 202.90 per kg in a business turnover of 3,648 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid a demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
