Copper futures fell 0.4% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand in the domestic market. Speculators trimmed their positions, pulling down prices.
New Delhi, Nov 11 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.4 per cent to Rs 831.10 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery eased by Rs 3.30 or 0.4 per cent to Rs 831.10 per kg in a business turnover of 7,494 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
