Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell on Wednesday due to weak demand in the domestic market. Speculators trimmed their positions, leading to a decline in prices.
New Delhi, Nov 13 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 0.43 per cent to Rs 808.70 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery eased by Rs 3.50 or 0.43 per cent to Rs 808.70 per kg in a business turnover of 4,837 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
