Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand in India

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell 0.09% to Rs 866.05 per kg due to weak demand and reduced positions by traders.
New Delhi, May 26 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday slipped 0.09 per cent to Rs 866.05 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased by 80 paise or 0.09 per cent to Rs 866.05 per kilogram in a business turnover of 6,430 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
