Copper futures fell 1.95% on Wednesday to Rs 842.75 per kg due to weak demand in the domestic market. Speculators trimmed positions, dragging prices down.
New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 1.95 per cent to Rs 842.75 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery eased by Rs 16.80 or 1.95 per cent to Rs 842.75 per kg in a business turnover of 8,436 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
