Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell 0.56% on Thursday due to muted demand in the domestic market and trimming of positions by speculators.
New Delhi, Jun 13 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell 0.56 per cent to Rs 866.45 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased by Rs 4.90 or 0.56 per cent to Rs 866.45 per kg in a business turnover of 1,464 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
