Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) slipped on Friday due to weak demand in the domestic market. Participants reduced their positions, leading to a decline in prices.
New Delhi, Jun 21 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell Rs 10.60 to Rs 857 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased by Rs 10.60 or 1.22 per cent to Rs 857 per kg in a business turnover of 5,869 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
