Copper futures decline to Rs 880/kg on MCX due to reduced positions and muted domestic demand. Analysts cite lower bets by participants.
New Delhi, Aug 21 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell 50 paise to Rs 880 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for September delivery eased 50 paise or 0.06 per cent to Rs 880 per kilogram in a business turnover of 4,933 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
