Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 1.49% to Rs 852.10 per kilogram on Wednesday, driven by muted demand in the domestic market.
New Delhi, May 8 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 1.49 per cent to Rs 852.10 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery eased Rs 12.90 or 1.49 per cent to Rs 852.10 per kg in a business turnover of 6,800 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
