Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Copper futures decline slightly due to reduced positions and muted domestic demand. September contracts ease on MCX.
New Delhi, Aug 6 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 0.01 per cent to Rs 885.50 per kilogram, as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for September delivery eased 10 paise or 0.01 per cent to Rs 885.50 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,368 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
