Copper Futures Rise on Demand | PTI

Copper prices in India climbed 0.35% on Friday, reaching Rs 841.25 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to higher spot demand. Analysts attributed the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Apr 19 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 0.35 per cent to Rs 841.25 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in April traded higher Rs 2.95 or 0.35 per cent at Rs 841.25 per kg in a business turnover of 3,678 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
