Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose 0.81% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased spot demand and raised bets by participants, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Aug 2 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 0.81 per cent to Rs 796.70 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in August traded higher Rs 6.40 or 0.81 per cent at Rs 796.70 per kg in a business turnover of 14,158 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
