Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose in India's futures market on Tuesday, driven by increased spot demand. The rise was attributed to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Oct 1 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose Rs 1.90 to Rs 853.25 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher Rs 1.90 or 0.22 per cent at Rs 853.25 per kg in a business turnover of 8,313 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
