Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 0.17% to Rs 716.60 per kg on Tuesday, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 16 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose 0.17 per cent to Rs 716.60 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in January traded higher by Rs 1.20 or 0.17 per cent at Rs 716.60 per kg in a business turnover of 5,886 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
