Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices rose 0.52% on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday, driven by increased spot demand and bets from market participants.
New Delhi, Apr 29 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose 0.52 per cent to Rs 862.45 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in May traded higher Rs 4.50 or 0.52 per cent at Rs 862.45 per kg in a business turnover of 3,952 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
