Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices in India rose on Friday due to increased spot demand, according to the Press Trust of India. Analysts attributed the rise to increased bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Aug 23 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 0.44 per cent to Rs 806.45 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in September traded higher Rs 3.50 or 0.44 per cent at Rs 806.45 per kg in a business turnover of 7,953 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
