Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand - PTI

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange surged 1.4% to Rs 837.90 per kg on Thursday, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Nov 7 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday rose 1.4 per cent to Rs 837.90 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 11.55 or 1.4 per cent to Rs 837.90 per kg in a business turnover of 8,316 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
