Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange gained 0.27% to Rs 828 per kg due to increased spot demand and rising bets by participants.
New Delhi, Oct 11 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday saw an uptick of 0.27 per cent to Rs 828 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery increased by Rs 2.25 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 828 per kg in a business turnover of 7,379 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
