Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange gained 1.28% to Rs 847.30 per kilogram on Thursday, driven by increased spot demand.
New Delhi, Oct 24 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday rose 1.28 per cent to Rs 847.30 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 10.70 or 1.28 per cent to Rs 847.30 per kg in a business turnover of 6,364 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
