Copper Futures Rise on Increased Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose 0.24% on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Wednesday due to higher spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Mar 6 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.24 per cent to Rs 727.90 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in March traded higher by Rs 1.75 or 0.24 per cent at Rs 727.90 per kg in a business turnover of 4,187 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
