Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed 0.12% to Rs 944.80/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand. October contracts saw a rise in business turnover.
New Delhi, Sep 26 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.12 per cent to Rs 944.80 per kilogram on Friday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery grew Rs 1.10 or 0.12 per cent to Rs 944.80 per kg in a business turnover of 6,894 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
