Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures increased 0.08% to Rs 959.50/kg on MCX due to strong spot demand. Analysts cite increased participant bets as a key factor.
New Delhi, Sep 30 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.08 per cent to Rs 959.50 per kilogram on Tuesday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery grew Rs 80 or 0.08 per cent to Rs 959.50 per kg in a business turnover of 7,596 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
