Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed 0.07% to Rs 958.70/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand. Analysts cite higher participant bets as the reason.
New Delhi, Oct 1 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.07 per cent to Rs 958.70 per kilogram on Wednesday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery grew Rs 70 or 0.07 per cent to Rs 958.70 per kg in a business turnover of 1,022 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
