Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed 0.08% to Rs 1,021.45/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand. Analysts cite higher participant bets as the reason.
New Delhi, Nov 27 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.08 per cent to Rs 1,021.45 per kilogram on Thursday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery grew 80 paise or 0.08 per cent to Rs 1,021.45 per kg in a business turnover of 8,691 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
