Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climb 0.75% to Rs 1,103.20/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand and higher participation. January contracts see growth.
New Delhi, Dec 11 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.75 per cent to Rs 1,103.20 per kilogram on Thursday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for January delivery grew Rs 8.25 or 0.75 per cent to Rs 1,103.20 per kg in a business turnover of 2,579 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
