Copper Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

Copper prices climbed 0.35% on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Tuesday, driven by increased spot demand, as per PTI reports. The rise is attributed to bullish bets by traders.
New Delhi, Apr 2 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose 0.35 per cent to Rs 768.60 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in April traded higher Rs 2.70 or 0.35 per cent at Rs 768.60 per kg in a business turnover of 4,405 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
