Copper futures fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to muted demand and profit-booking by traders.
New Delhi, Feb 12 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell Re 1 to Rs 702.75 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery eased by Re 1 or 0.14 per cent to Rs 702.10 per kg in a business turnover of 6,643 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
