Copper futures fell 0.25% on Thursday to Rs 852.85 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by muted demand in the domestic market.
New Delhi, May 9 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell 0.25 per cent to Rs 852.85 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery eased Rs 2.15 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 852.85 per kg in a business turnover of 6,854 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
