Coriander Futures Decline on Weak Demand
Coriander futures prices fell on Thursday due to weak demand in the spot market. Speculators reduced their positions, leading to a decline of Rs 134 per quintal.
New Delhi, Jan 23 (PTI) Coriander prices on Thursday eased Rs 134 to Rs 8,610 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for March delivery declined Rs 134 or 1.56 per cent to Rs 8,610 per quintal in 20,345 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in the spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices here.
