Coriander Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI
Coriander futures prices surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand and limited supplies from producing regions.
New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) Coriander prices on Thursday increased Rs 94 to Rs 7,460 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for December delivery grew by Rs 94 or 1.26 per cent to Rs 7,460 per quintal in 21,330 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
