Coriander Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI
Coriander prices in India rose on Tuesday due to increased demand and firm trend in the spot market, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Dec 24 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday increased Rs 26 to Rs 7,896 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for December delivery increased by Rs 26 or 0.08 per cent to Rs 7,896 per quintal in 19,420 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
